ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following: Other duties may be assigned. 1. Visually inspect components (including sheet metal) and assemblies. 2. Shall identify faulty components, components installed incorrectly, and detect other quality defects. 3. Perform Go/No-Go testing on electrical / electronic components and electrical assemblies. 4. Perform basic electrical/functional troubleshooting for assemblies that do not pass the accepted test procedures. 5. Replace defective components. 6. Fill in for incoming inspector during absences and peak periods. 7. Maintain accurate records on paper and/or computer. 8. Shall practice safe work habits and report all safety hazards to the supervisor. 9. Shall be responsible for inspecting your work and identifying quality defects. 10. Be accountable for the quality and quantity of your work. 11. Shall be instrumental in improving processes and in creative problem-solving. 12. Be familiar with company operations and regulations.

QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS: To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Able to work with speed and accuracy in assigned tasks. Able to communicate effectively and relate to co-workers. Shall be able to follow verbal instructions and function with minimum guidance. Shall maintain a neat appearance about self and work areas. Shall be presentable to customer at all times.
EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE:
High School or GED degree required. Electrical or electronic training preferred. One year technical experience required in lieu of electrical / electronic training.
