Job Duties:

• Involve in full SAP GTS (Global Trade Services) implementation from initial requirements gathering and design through enhancement, monitoring, and ongoing maintenance.
o Work with Subject Matter Expert(s) to identify the required capabilities and impacts to configuration in order to support business requirements.
o Tailor and maintain SAP configuration based on business requirements and strategies, using defined development standards and procedures.
• Implement SPL and Embargo which are part of SAP GTS application and fully integrate Product Classification with Customs point Broker system using Interface with Legacy Classification system for HTS, ECCN.
o Gathers and translates business requirements into detailed functional design specifications that include current and future state of business processes as well as business application solutions.
o Facilitate the adoption and best utilization of existing SAP functionality or determine feasibility of developing a custom solution to address/support business requirements and business process improvement initiatives.
• Conducting interviews to gather requirements from Process Owners, Subject Matter Experts, Technical Consultants, Project Coordinators, Project Management Office representatives.
o Collaborate with team through designing, testing, deploying and maintaining business applications to support business strategies, initiatives and requirements.
o Provide weekly status updates on assignments.
• Provide options to Client at the end of the design phase if any existing support packs would substantially reduce project effort.
o Setup necessary sandbox access to provide different options to client before starting the implementation process.
o Provide options based on the new functionality introduced per release that can improve the current implementation and can accelerate the ongoing deployment.
• Evaluating requests for a new or modified SAP program, compatibility with current SAP system and computer capabilities.
o Performs technical configuration to support business requirements and eliminate the nonvalue added processes.
o Perform data analysis to ensure data integrity.
• Providing functional specifications for Technical Developers in design and development of forms, input templates and reports.
o Work with the process teams in creating documents for the functional specifications.
o Write high quality, optimized and well-documented functional specifications based on best practices followed.
o Provide new specifications to validate the forms, reports, and templates using testing strategies.
• Document functional requirements for development of integrated solution in SAP.
o Work with the technical team on any technical queries that might arise.
o Review and sign-off the completed functional specification documents (i.e. after the peer review is completed) before moving to the technical design phase.
• Participate in technical reviews to validate designs involving the SAP GTS application.
o Validate business system requirements via functional test scripts. Responsible for executing functional tests, coordinating business user acceptance testing, integration testing and regression testing. This includes ensuring that integration points with other functional areas are validated.
• Identify inter-dependencies between data elements in SAP ERP, SAP System, non-SAP Systems and SAP GTS system.
o Identify and resolve integration issues between SAP ERP and non-SAP systems and SAP GTS.
o Drive source data identification, data mapping, and data cleansing.

Minimum requirements:

Master's degree or foreign equivalent degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Computer Applications, or a related field, and 1 year of related work experience required.
