General Requirement
PROVIDE SOFTWARE ENGINEERING LIFECYCLE SUPPORT, UTILIZING DATA COLLECTION AND STATISTICAL ANALYSIS TO AID IN THE DEVELOPMENT OF TEST PLANS, MAINTENANCE MANUALS, AND TECHNICAL DOCUMENTATION AND PRESENTATIONS, FOLLOWING THE NSWCPD SYSTEM ENGINEERING PROCESS (SEP) IN SUPPORT OF THE DESIGN, DEVELOPMENT, MODIFICATION, AND TESTING/TROUBLESHOOTING OF COMPUTER CODE FOR EQUIPMENT, AND ROOT CAUSE ANALYSIS FOR OTHER CONTROL AND ELECTRO MECHANICAL SYSTEMS CONCERNING INTEGRATION IN BOTH SHIPBOARD AND NON-SHIPBOARD ENVIRONMENTS


Essential Functions
• Software development in engineering and/or control systems using C++
• Software development in using Microsoft .NET Framework
• Microsoft Visual Studio

Requirements
• MUST be a US Citizen
• Successful candidate must be able to obtain and maintain a government-issued security clearance of secret level or higher; interim may be required before starting

Education and/or Experience
• Bachelor of Science Degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or Computer Engineering from an ABET (Accreditation Board for Engineering and Technology) accredited program.
• Seven (7) years of professional experience in software development in engineering and/or control systems using C++.
• Two (2) years of professional experience in software development using Microsoft .NET Framework.
• Two (2) years of professional experience using Microsoft Visual Studio to develop, compile, and debug source code in C++/CLI, Managed C++, or C#.
• One (1) year of professional experience as a technical and/or programming lead for a software project through the software life cycle, from requirements to design, implementation, deployment, and maintenance.
• One (1) year of professional experience designing and/or analyzing software architectures.
• One (1) year of professional experience writing, reviewing, and maintaining new or existing software requirements, technical documentation such as user manuals, product specifications, and training.
