SEEKING MID-LEVEL MECHANICAL ENGINEERS TO PERFORM DUTIES IN PLANNING AND DESIGNING TOOLS, HANDLING EQUIPMENT, MACHINES AND OTHER MECHANICALLY FUNCTIONING EQUIPMENT. THIS WILL INVOLVE 3D MODELING, ANALYSIS, SELECTING, AND TROUBLESHOOTING MATERIALS USED IN MECHANICAL APPLICATIONS ALONG WITH MODIFICATION, INSTALLATION, OPERATION, MAINTENANCE AND REPAIR OF EQUIPMENT.


Essential Functions
1. Research and analyze data such as customer design proposal, specifications, and manuals to determine feasibility of design or application.
2. Design products or systems in support of equipment, research, or maintenance requirements.
3. Coordinate, troubleshoot, and approve installation activities as inspection services to ensure products and systems conform to engineering design and specifications.
4. Conduct GD&T analysis on current and future/modified equipment and systems.
Perform analysis for weld specifications from current applications to new or converted equipment.

Perform all other position related duties as assigned or requested

Requirements
• MUST be a US Citizen
• Successful candidate must be able to obtain and maintain a government-issued security clearance of secret level or higher; interim may be required before starting

Education and/or Experience
• Bachelors degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related Engineering field and 8-10 years of job related experience or equivalent.
• Experience with GD&T and weld specifications
• Expected to have a minimum of 5 years of experience with Strategic Weapons Systems and the ability to work independently.
• Good written communication skills
• Working knowledge of word-processing and integrated software applications
• Organizational skills and ability to perform detail-oriented work are required.
• Position may require travel.
POSITION WILL REQUIRE THE ABILITY TO PASS AND MAINTAIN A SECURITY CLEARANCE

Salary Range: Commensurate with Experience
