1. HCL Client onsite engineer will work closely with Client engineers for all HCL relative projects.
2. Onsite engineer will effectively manage all the communication related to the projects between HCL managers and client key project associates. And he will be Single point of contact for all communications between onsite and offshore.
3. Project Scoping, requirement gathering and define Statement of Work to offshore and review and deliver
4. Participate in detailed discussion with various stakeholders of Client to understand requirement, plan deliveries and receive response to specific technical queries from Client to offshore
5. Conduct risk assessment of the projects and define time line for reviews and deliveries
6. HCL onsite engineer priorities the projects according to Client project priority schedule, organize the offshore team for smooth technical deliveries, status reporting, inform challenges timely to Client.
7. CAD (CREO) transactions and data management activities through PDM/PLM (wind-chill) between HCL onsite and offshore
8. Organize reviews, follow, scheduling and Support for prototype activities, testing activates to seek responses with Client to offshore query
9. Regular interaction with Technical manager and Engineers of various stake holders of Client during the projects.
10. Onsite and Offshore Coordination between Client and HCL offshore team for project deliverables and timely delivery as per schedules and milestones.
11. Reporting with Client Senior program management team to update on HCL performance on project deliveries, Status reporting, organizing engagement review meetings.
12. Also good to have hands on CAD tools preferably CREO/Proe and PLM- Wind-Chill
13. Very good experience in development of electromechanical products, sound knowledge in design, materials and process like plastics, elastomer and sheet metal parts
