Job Title: PLC Project Developer

Location: Pittsburgh PA

Requirements:
Bachelor, Electronics Engineering, related field or equivalent plus 5 years of work experience as a Software Developer and/or PLC Programmer. Experience using control descriptions, electrical schematics, and drawings create codes for controlling various electro-mechanical systems. Experience with ERP Solutions. Requires experience or coursework in computer programming and utilization, circuits and networks, simulation and design tools, microprocessor and interfacing, integrated circuits and applications, visual basic application and programming, microcontroller and interfacing.

Duties:
Lead field engineering with startup and trouble shooting of applied programming.
Lead engineering team to develop electrical, instrumentation and controls of products and systems to satisfy unique customer specifications, contracts, and new business development.
Design and shop building of machine control system
Carefully and thoroughly document all work. Keep existing documentation current and accessible to other team members.
Ensure that copies of software are up-to- date and available to the rest of the team members and that sufficient back-up copies are maintained in a safe location.
Liaison with Engineering and Maintenance Team
Troubleshoot issues utilizing current technology including electrical test equipment and computer diagnosis equipment.
Utilize programming devices to analyze PLC programs for failures or improvements.
Maintain detailed records of critical process variables and ensure that programs are logical and as comprehensible as possible.
Provide the oversight and support needed to ensure safety, compliance with standard processes for the team and all applicable regulations, effective quality and cost controls M-F, 40hrs/wk, 8-5pm.
