Position Description:
1.Business Supply Planning: Manage the short and intermediate-term production planning process for one of the CET businesses by coordinating between multiple factories, and division level functional groups. This role will be accountable to deliver reliable aggregate production plans on a monthly basis. This person will be instrumental in detecting, elevating, and solving critical supply issues that could impact division-wide business performance. This person will play a critical role in strategy development and execution as the supply SME for the business. To achieve this, he/she will support Manufacturing Strategy, PLMs, the annual planning process (Greenbook), appropriation requests, and translate operational plans into long-term cost models.
2.Supply Chain Strategy development and improvement: Key contributor to the development and execution of a division supply chain strategy aligned with the business strategy (commercial, technology, manufacturing, quality, supply management). Works proactively with cross-functional team s to meet business needs, improve customer satisfaction and supply chain performance.
3.Project Management: Lead process improvement and cost reduction activities through both formal projects and informal initiatives.
Day to Day Responsibilities:

Business Supply Planning: • Manage the S&OP supply process for the selected business. • Build monthly division master plan for receipts and inventory. Monitor for trends and identify changes to production plans to achieve targets. Set inventory targets. • Manage product or product lines allocation to manufactured plants to optimize system costs and best accomplish the division strategy. • Facilitate monthly partnership meetings with the plants to establish cohesive plans and reconcile discrepancies between plants and the division. • Detect, elevate, and solve critical supply issues that could impact division-wide business performance. • Manage and/or provide input for transactional processes such as source change, new products, spec change, and assumption management processes. • Maintain SAP IBP planning software master data and support plants in first line troubleshooting. • Serve on a business core team (such as LDS core team) to support PLM strategic planning. Help the PLM integrate technology, capital, demand and supply plans, specifically through capacity and cost analyses. • Execute long-term (Greenbook) supply planning for a CET business, including validation of assumptions, creation of supply plans, and assessment of risks, gap closure, and financial quantification of these plans. Present this to senior management.
Supply Chain Strategy Development and Improvements: • Assist in the development of supply chain strategy and improvement roadmap. Mentor and support plant supply chain member in development of plant supply chain strategies. • Evaluate and recommend how to optimize the global capacity, capability, and cost opportunities within supply chains to meet customer and delivery goals.
