Our Optical Communications segment has recently evolved from being a manufacturer of optical fiber and cable, hardware and equipment to being a comprehensive provider of industry-leading optical solutions across the broader communications industry.This segment is classified into two main product groupings – carrier network and enterprise network. The carrier network product group consists primarily of products and solutions for optical-based communications infrastructure for services such as video, data and voice communications. The enterprise network product group consists primarily of optical-based communication networks sold to businesses, governments and individuals for their own use.
Scope of Position: Serve as regional expert for sales analytics and SFDC. Develop partnership with regional sales leadership to drive best practice adoption and implementation of process improvements across the sales organization.
Major Responsibilities:
Capture, analyze and report on key sales information to help drive effective business decisions.
Analyze ongoing business processes and work across organization to improve commercial efficiency, revenue enablement and cost reduction.
Gather feedback from sales managers to help drive continuous improvement in corrupted selling time.
Train and support sales teams in the best practice use of SFDC, Altify and other sales enablement tools.
Coordinate the sales teams’ efforts for commercial forecasting, pipeline reviews, and weekly reports.
Support learning and development initiatives for local commercial organization.
Additional reporting and analysis for the region as needed.
Required Education and Experience:
B.S. Business, Finance, Economics, IT or other related discipline
Minimum of 2-3 years’ experience required; 5-7 years’ experience preferred
Prior experience in Analytical, Finance, Business Operations and/or Sales Support roles
Strong analytical skills, with the ability to craft concise summaries of complex data.
Ability to communicate clearly and effectively in written and spoken English as well as with graphical displays of information.
Mastery of Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Outlook and SharePoint. PowerBI knowledge a plus.
