General Summary:

Under general supervision of the Manager, Learning and Development, the Training and Employee Programs Administrator has the responsibility to act as an assistant to the Manager, Learning and Development, coordinate training needs, including booking rooms, adding sessions to the Learning Management System (LMS), printing materials, and tracking all training sessions, as well as assist in training administration, including researching and coordinating external training resources as requested, mandatory training administration, LMS general administration and tier 1 support. Additionally, the Training and Employee Programs Administrator will develop reports on Training, Employee Recognition, and the Wellness Program, keep the Intranet up-to-date, administrate the Resource Library, develop Wellness Program materials, including newsletters, and administrate the Employee Recognition Program.


Job Requirements:
•BA/BS in Human Resources, Training, Education, Organizational Development, Communications, Business Administration, or related field from a four-year College or University; and/or minimum of three to five (3-5) years of experience in a corporate administrative role.
•Minimum of one to three (1-3) years of training, instructional development, or employee programs administrative experience, with experience in LMS administration preferred. Equivalent experience may be considered.
•Have strong experience in Excel with an emphasis on chart creation and formulas.
•Demonstrate effective listening, verbal, written communication skills, and ability to work with the public.
•Must demonstrate excellent customer service skills in working with external and internal customers.
•Experience with screen capture and video editing software (e.g., SnagIt, Camtasia, Captivate) preferred.
• Strong ability to think critically, problem solve creatively, and present ideas.
• Show ability of flexibility, maturity of judgment, and ability to work collegially.
• Demonstrate ability to multi-task at a fast-pace/ high-level; ability to adapt to a rapidly changing work environment.
• Demonstrate ability to maintain cooperative, diplomatic working relationships with co-workers & supervisors; work as part of a team and collaborate with colleagues & maintain a positive work ethic; complete projects under tight deadlines even when there are competing requirements and changes in assignments.
