The Los Angeles Community College District (LACCD) invites applications for the position of Examination Proctor. This position assists in administering written tests, performance tests, and interviews. Please note that only the first 250 applications will be accepted. Once the limit is reached, only applications from current active employees will be accepted until the filing deadline.
Hourly Rate: $19.09
TYPICAL DUTIES
Distributes examination materials to candidates.
Monitors test rooms and helps to enforce time limits and compliance with other examination procedures including the taking of fingerprints and arranging the seating of candidates.
Answers questions concerning examination procedures, discrepancies in test booklets, and other routine matters.
Collects, checks, and counts examination materials.
Reports rule violations and/or unusual occurrences during examinations to supervisor.
Checks candidates' identification.
Notifies appropriate personnel when test equipment malfunctions occur.
May score examinations and input data into exam databases.
May serve as a receptionist at performance tests and interviews.
May read standard instructions to candidates.
May transport highly confidential test materials from one location to another.
May perform general clerical duties such as answering phones, processing correspondence, maintaining files, and distributing mail.
Performs related duties as assigned.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS FOR ACCEPTANCE OF AN APPLICATION:
Education and Experience:
Graduation from high school or its equivalent. No experience is required.
Special:
A valid Class "C" California driver's license may be required for some positions.
Travel to locations throughout the District may be required for some positions.

EXAMINATION PROCESS
The examination process may consist of one or more parts which may include a training and experience evaluation, written test, performance test and/or oral interview.
ACCOMMODATION

Documentation of the need for accommodation is required solely for the purpose of establishing that the applicant has an ADA disability and that the disability necessitates a reasonable accommodation. Typically, a recent letter from an appropriate health care or rehabilitation professional which establishes that the applicant has an ADA qualifying disability, identifies the functional limitations as they relate to the testing situation, and recommends/suggests the appropriate accommodation is sufficient. In order for appropriate arrangements to be made at the testing site, a request for accommodation and required documentation must be received by the Examiner of Record at least 3 days prior to the administration of the test.
