Technician (Journeyman)



General Requirement

Work alongside ATS units to provide training, and support for assigned equipment. Travel out to locations and provide hands on training and guidance for how to utilize equipment. Responsible for all technical aspects regarding the US Marine Corps Ground Forces MTR Program and provides technical expertise. Provides NET and refresher instruction to Marine units requiring additional training after approval. Interfaces with ISEAs and marine maintenance units for technical data IOT trouble shoot and develop new test routines.



Essential Functions

Provide training and instruction on how to use equipment.

Users are represented, their issues are dealt with, and they are well equipped with the latest builds, and instruction.

Perform testing on equipment and report back to system architects.

Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with high-ranking military, civilian, and contractor personnel in situations requiring a high degree of tact, diplomacy and sound judgment.



Requirements

MUST be a US Citizen

Successful candidate must be able to obtain and maintain a government-issued security clearance of secret level or higher; interim may be required before starting



Education and/or Experience



BS in Informatics, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related STEM field required.



Industry certifications will be required within 6 months of hire for an IAT Level II in accordance with DoD 8570.
