Job Description-



Maintain the overall administration of the Tableau server, desktop, and other applications

Verify and keep up with Tableau Application upgrades, backups, patching.

Performance Tuning, scheduling and optimization of the Tableau System is an ongoing requirement.

Tuning, security and administration of the applications while following SPIs, checklists, and administration guides,

Administer and support multi node Tableau server including upgrade analysis and planning, security administration, release management, troubleshooting, performance tuning, and general systems maintenance

Create a comprehensive release schedule for Certified Dashboards with security.

Collaborate with end users, project stakeholders and support partners to identify needs, goals, and business models

Assess the current state identify opportunities for improvement and best practice recommendations

Experiment with new features and enhancements released by Tableau, and bring them into the platform organization

Work with vendor product management to determine, validate and implement a long-term strategy for Tableau

Implement an integration with Active Directory, taking care of Authorization and permissions



Job Requirements



Bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology with 5+ years of experience in Tableau Administration

4+ years of experience in health check monitoring and producing user statistics and forensics

Experience with User and application security configuration

Experience Troubleshooting connectivity of tableau data sources

Experience Setting up standard backup and recovery of contents

Experience with multiple implementation of end to end application server configurations including knowledge on Network, Security and firewall

Setting up new connectivity to new databases and installing new drivers

Troubleshoot errors through system logs

Strong RDBMS and data modelling skills
