Full Job Description:
Systems Engineer - Data Loss Prevention
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Primary focus will be leading design, planning, development, build, and support for Client Data Loss Prevention (DLP) solutions (including Netskope, O365, GSuite, Digital Guardian) that secure PII/sensitive data, with limited supervision
Develop secure system solutions to meet DLP program requirements
Apply Information Security principals to recommend, implement, support, and improve DLP/security controls
Continuously develop DLP metrics for monitoring and alerts, and assist with related system capacity forecasting
Supply expertise to management, business areas, and IT Teams regarding appropriate DLP controls and monitoring
Develop and maintain documentation of DLP systems designs, configurations, processes, and procedures (Operational
Runbooks and Playbooks)
Partner with internal application teams to as needed to integrated DLP standards and policies
Ensure thorough testing of email DLP/Security solutions for functionality and compatibility
Work to with internal stakeholders to ensure solutions are built, deployed, working as designed, and improved upon
Provide DLP operational support for users, managers, application and administration teams, etc.
Provide tracking and/or other help with DLP-related investigations as needed
Lead coordination of service/support needs with vendors, application support teams, and internal teams through
effective partnership, collaboration and communication
Lead change management, and drive DLP application or infrastructure related changes
Participate in DLP/Security application troubleshooting and critical incident resolution with other infrastructure teams, including application, network, and data center teams. You must be comfortable in addressing critical
incidents
Proactively identify new DLP/Security gaps, risks, and issues. Escalate to team peers and/or management accordingly
Required Qualifications/Experience:
B. S. in Computer Science or equivalent experience
Must be a self-starter with the ability to work independently and in a collaborative team environment
Experience leading DLP/Security front-end design of technical solutions, development, rollout, and support (5+ years)
DLP operational experience is required (understanding expressions, file analysis, policy drivers, rules layering, etc.)
Hands-On experience with Netskope and Office 365 Data Loss Prevention products
Strong understanding of infrastructure, services, and clients supporting DLP: Active Directory, Outlook, Chrome, etc.
Strong understanding of how DLP is applied to different endpoint types (Windows / Mac / Chrome / iOS / Android)
Excellent time management and organizational skills
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including presenting to both technical and management teams
Capable of effectively managing relationships with internal and external partners
Preferred Qualifications/Experience:
Certifications - CISSP, Netskope CCA, Microsoft (MCSE, MCP, etc.), GSuite/Gmail/Calendar, AWS
Experience administering AirWatch or other Mobile Endpoint Management Service
Experience using scripting languages (e.g. Python, Java, Perl, Regex) to deploy, manage, and automate configurations
Experience with ServiceNow and/or similar Change/Incident Management suite
Experience running queries and building reports/dashboards with Splunk.
