EVT slotted strut channel is a standardized formed structural system used in the construction and electrical industries for light structural support, often for supporting wiring, plumbing or mechanical components.
Punched channel has rounded end rectangular slots punched out on 2-inch centers.
In US units, the basic typical steel strut channel forms a box 1 5/8 inch by 1 5/8 inch. In metric units, this is a 41 mm by 41 mm unit. The other popular size with a half height is 1 5/8 inch by 13/16 inch in US units while 41 mm by 21 mm in metric units.
The galvanized strut channel is made of sheet steel with typical thickness 12 gauge (2.5mm) or 14 gauge (2.0mm) thick sheet metal. The more economical thickness is 16 gauge (1.5mm)
The regular length is 3 meter.
Customized thickness and length will also be accepted upon special request.
