Silicon carbide is a kind of blasting media with wide application. It has moderate hardness, high bulk density, high specific weight and good toughness. Silicon carbide is an ideal "environmental-friendly" blasting media.
And there are two basic types of silicon carbide, namely black silicon carbide and green silicon carbide, both of which belong to α-sic.
