High frequency furnace is a kind of induction furnace. Induction furnace can be divided into three types according to frequency of AC: power frequency furnace, medium frequency furnace and high frequency furnace.
High frequency current of high frequency electric furnace flows to induction loop or heating coil of other shapes wound by copper tube, which produces alternating electromagnetic field. The material to be heated is put in induction loop. electromagnetic induction generates eddy current in the material, and electric energy is converted into heat energy by effect of resistance, which makes material temperature rise.
