Looking for qualified self-motivated individuals who have an interest in growing with an extended standing outpatient treatment center, Family Medicine for America's Health

fmahealth.org). New Beginnings may be a DWI provider in good standing with NCDHHS. We administer every type of habit Assessments and supply out-patient treatment. We also provide services for Federal Probation administering psychological state and habit evaluations, one on one counseling, and treat Co-Existing Disorders. Candidates must be fully certified as an LCAS be experienced in misuse assessments; mental state Evaluations; LPC a plus but not required DWI experience isn't necessary but definitely a plus.

Work competently altogether 12 core functions of substance use disorder treatment and counseling. These functions include intake, assessment, individual and psychotherapy, didactic presentations, transition and discharge planning, case management and repair coordination, and documentation.
Complete documentation in step with accreditation, licensing standards, and agency/program policies. Documentation of treatment must be accurate, timely, and fulfills program requirements.
Communicate assessment findings and treatment recommendations to the client, \ and members of the treatment team.
Develop the treatment plan and make sure that it's supported the assessment, symptoms/observations, and proposals for services.
Complete all necessary paperwork to incorporate progress notes, group notes, treatment plan, concurrent reviews and discharge plans
Work collaboratively with client, within the development of the treatment plan.
Focus services on client’s strengths, needs, abilities and preferences with a stress on helping client build recovery safe natural supports.
Provide didactic presentations and individual, and group counseling.
Arrange and integrate multiple services as required. This includes monitoring the supply of services and advocating for the most effective interest of the client.
Link and coordinate client to community services and programs and supply clinical oversight and consultation to those services as appropriate.
Work collaboratively with community partners . Educate and inform community about available resources.
Attend clinical staffing and other work groups PRN to facilitate effective service delivery and support Agency operations.
Responsible for assisting with the management of crisis and emergency situations involving clients. This includes assisting the client, family, and other team members in creating a comprehensive safety plan as appropriate.
Work a versatile schedule to incorporate evening and weekend hours. Maintain all licensure and certifications requirements. This includes adhering to clinical supervision requirements and obtaining necessary continuing education hours.
Work collaboratively with Agency personnel and programs. This position is anticipated to be a team player.
Adhere to professional discipline and licensure ethical codes and standards.
Outpatient Therapist Minimum Education and experience: Minimum requirement of LCAS. Prefer dual license (LCAS, LPC).
Licenses or Certifications Required: Counselor is to blame for maintaining trainings and supervision requirements to satisfy licensure status. Training must include specific population served, ethics/client rights/confidentiality, cultural competency, and treatment modalities and interventions. The contractor must have a sound driver’s license and auto insurance.
Special Knowledge, Skills, Physical Requirements or Other Factors: Counselor could be a trained professional and has vast clinical knowledge of assorted human psychotherapy models furthermore as thorough knowledge of the philosophy of assorted therapeutic approaches that may only be obtained through prolonged course or academic training and/or prolonged experience serving the incapacity population. Knowledge and competencies include but aren't limited to Intensive outpatient treatment facility standards, individual therapy, psychotherapy, and didactic therapy, addictions and substance use treatment theory and practice, dual diagnosis/integrated co-occurring disorder assessment and treatment, cognitive behavioral, motivational enhancement, and 12 step Facilitation therapeutic interventions and practices, and relapse prevention therapy models and interventions. Specific skills and skills include: highly developed verbal and written language skills, communicate with large and diverse audiences in habit treatment, recovery and repair delivery, computer literacy (i.e. Microsoft Office, EMR, etc.), and counseling.
