QUALITY ENGINEER- Will implement quality control and assurance techniques per customer requirements. Including but not limited to, sampling plans, statistical analysis, measurement techniques, SPC, process validations and capability studies. Initiate quality improvement ideas for key suppliers and help write corrective actions for supplier part discrepancies to ensure that incoming parts meet quality requirements. Work with the management team to ensure customer’s expectations are reviewed and planned prior to production. Work with the QMS Manager to implement and administer a non-conformance notice system and to create documentation of non-conformances on the production floor. Ensure responsible supervisors’ disposition of non-conformance including scrap, rework, salvage, and “use-as-is.” Warrant and develop a corrective action to ensure rejects do not recur. Work with QMS Manager to ensure corrective actions are implemented promptly to guarantee quality corrective actions are completed in a timely manner, and to track conformance to requirements. Req. Bachelor’s Degree in Industrial Engineering. Req. 1 years’ experience in any quality assurance position.
