Full Job Description:
Create construction documents for building projects, in conformance with local regulations and best practices. Attend meetings with client, engineering consultants, contractors, and material vendors. Coordinate the technical drawings and specifications produced by the engineering consultants, integrating those systems with the architectural documents. Collaborate with others to ensure quality control by checking and making revisions to the drawings and other necessary documents. Prepare finished plans and specifications. Interpretation, organization, execution and coordination of: drawings and documents; codes and AHJ; research. Architectural and company standards compliance. Construction administration support via preparation of RFI, submittal and shop drawings responses. Investigation, evaluation, and recommendation of design solutions. Adherence to project schedule. Req. BA in Architecture, Architectural Studies or related and 5 years’ experience as Architect, Project Captain, Architect Trainee or related. Will accept Masters degree and 2 years’ experience.
