Job Overview & Introduction: As a Data Scientist in Product Analytics at Meta, you will play a critical role in informing product decisions with data-driven insights, driving business growth and user engagement. This role is essential to the company's success, as it directly impacts the development of new products and features.
Key Responsibilities & Day-to-Day Tasks: Your daily tasks will include analyzing large datasets to identify trends and opportunities, developing and maintaining metrics to measure product performance, creating data visualizations to communicate insights to stakeholders, collaborating with cross-functional teams to inform product decisions, designing and implementing A/B tests to measure product changes, developing and maintaining statistical models to forecast user behavior, and creating reports to track key product metrics. You will work closely with product managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to ensure that data-driven insights are integrated into product development.
Required Qualifications & Experience: A bachelor's or master's degree in a quantitative field such as computer science, statistics, or mathematics is required. You should have at least 3-5 years of experience in data analysis or a related field, with expertise in statistical modeling, data visualization, and data mining. Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, R, or SQL is necessary, as well as experience with data visualization tools like Tableau or Power BI.
