Tinder seeks a Backend Engineer Intern to enhance our matching platform in Los Angeles, CA.
Develop and optimize RESTful APIs handling high-traffic user interactions. Collaborate on microservices for profile matching and geolocation features. Debug production issues using logs and metrics daily. Contribute to one key project scaling chat services for peak hours.
Pursuing CS degree or equivalent. 1+ year coursework in backend development. Proficient in Java, Spring Boot, PostgreSQL. Familiarity with AWS or Docker.
