At Cypress HCM, a leader in human capital management solutions based in the heart of Silicon Valley, the Financial Planning Analyst plays a pivotal role in steering financial strategy amid rapid growth. This position demands sharp analytical skills to align budgeting with business objectives in our general business services sector.
Day-to-day, you will develop rolling forecasts using advanced Excel models and Power BI dashboards, scrutinizing revenue trends from client engagements to pinpoint variances against targets. Collaborate with cross-functional leaders to craft annual operating plans, incorporating scenario analysis for market shifts, and track key performance indicators like EBITDA margins through monthly close processes. Prepare executive summaries that distill complex data into actionable insights, supporting investment decisions in talent acquisition tech.
Ideal candidates hold a Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or Economics, coupled with 3-5 years of progressive FP&A experience in tech-driven firms. Proficiency in financial modeling, SQL for data extraction, and ERP systems like NetSuite is essential; CFA progress or equivalent certification adds value.
Excel in quantitative analysis, data visualization, and stakeholder communication. Demonstrate precision under deadlines and adaptability to evolving business priorities.
