Job Overview & Introduction: As a Research Scientist at Oil-Dri Corporation of America, you will play a crucial role in driving business growth through innovative research and development. Key Responsibilities & Day-to-Day Tasks: Your daily tasks will include designing and conducting experiments, analyzing data, and presenting findings to stakeholders. Additionally, you will participate in project planning, budgeting, and resource allocation, and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements. Required Qualifications & Experience: A Ph.D. in a relevant field, such as chemistry or materials science, is required, along with 3-5 years of experience in research and development. You should have a strong understanding of scientific principles and methods, as well as excellent analytical and problem-solving skills. Industry knowledge of cat litter or related products is a plus. Preferred Qualifications & Nice-to-Haves: Additional skills that would be beneficial include experience with statistical analysis software, programming languages such as Python or R, and knowledge of regulatory requirements. A strong understanding of business operations and market trends is also desirable. Skills & Competencies: You should have excellent technical skills, including experience with laboratory equipment and software, as well as strong communication and collaboration skills. Industry-specific competencies, such as knowledge of cat litter production or related products, are also essential.
