Job Overview & Introduction: As a Software Engineer I, Core Data at Etsy, you'll play a crucial role in building and maintaining our core data systems, driving business growth and informing key decisions. You'll collaborate with cross-functional teams to design, develop, and deploy scalable data solutions. Key Responsibilities & Day-to-Day Tasks: Your daily tasks will include designing and implementing data models, developing and maintaining data pipelines, collaborating with data analysts to inform business decisions, and ensuring data quality and integrity. Preferred Qualifications & Nice-to-Haves: It's nice to have experience with cloud-based data platforms, containerization, and orchestration tools, as well as knowledge of data governance and data security principles. You should also have excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
