Daily work centers on schematic capture and PCB layout for zonal controllers using Altium Designer, targeting low-latency communication via CAN-FD and Ethernet. You will prototype high-reliability power distribution modules, conduct signal integrity simulations with SPICE, and validate designs through environmental testing in chamber facilities. Collaborate with firmware teams to integrate zonal gateways, troubleshoot EMI issues on prototypes, and iterate based on vehicle-level integration feedback from proving grounds. Candidates need a BS in Electrical Engineering with 5+ years in automotive electronics, including zonal or domain controller experience. Proficiency in mixed-signal design, ARM Cortex processors, and ISO 26262 functional safety is essential.
