Job Description

HEALTH ATLAST WEST LA INC seeks a skilled Osteopathic Doctor to provide holistic patient care in Los Angeles, CA. Join our innovative team to diagnose, treat musculoskeletal issues, and promote overall wellness using osteopathic manipulative treatment.

Full Description

At HEALTH ATLAST WEST LA INC, we are seeking a dedicated Osteopathic Doctor (DO) to join our dynamic healthcare team in Los Angeles, California. This pivotal role involves delivering comprehensive, patient-centered care that integrates the body's natural ability to heal itself. As a key contributor, you will impact our mission to provide cutting-edge, non-surgical solutions for pain relief and optimal health, helping patients reclaim their lives while driving our clinic's reputation for excellence in functional medicine. Your day-to-day responsibilities will center on conducting thorough patient assessments, including detailed medical histories and physical examinations focused on musculoskeletal health. You will perform osteopathic manipulative treatments (OMT) to address somatic dysfunctions, spinal misalignments, and chronic pain conditions such as back pain, neck issues, and joint disorders. Daily tasks include developing personalized treatment plans that may incorporate manual therapies, therapeutic exercises, and lifestyle counseling. Weekly, you will review patient progress, adjust protocols, and collaborate with chiropractors, physical therapists, and nutritionists to ensure integrated care. Monthly, you will participate in case reviews, contribute to clinic metrics like patient satisfaction scores and recovery rates, and mentor support staff on osteopathic principles. Expect to manage a full patient load, document encounters in electronic health records, and engage in community outreach for preventive health education. To excel in this position, candidates must hold a Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) degree from an accredited institution, along with a valid California medical license and board certification in Osteopathic Manipulative Medicine or Family Practice. A minimum of 3-5 years of clinical experience in osteopathic care, particularly in outpatient settings treating neuromusculoskeletal conditions, is required. Proficiency in diagnostic imaging interpretation, OMT techniques, and electronic medical record systems like Epic or Athenahealth is essential. Strong knowledge of evidence-based osteopathic principles, pain management protocols, and integrative medicine practices is mandatory. DEA registration and BLS certification are also necessary. Success demands a blend of technical expertise in OMT modalities, including cranial, myofascial release, and high-velocity low-amplitude techniques, alongside soft skills like empathetic communication, active listening, and patient education. You should demonstrate strong analytical abilities for differential diagnosis, leadership in multidisciplinary teams, and adaptability in a fast-paced clinic environment. Industry competencies in holistic health approaches, patient outcome tracking, and compliance with HIPAA regulations will set you apart. HEALTH ATLAST WEST LA INC is a leader in functional health and pain management, with a mission to empower patients through innovative, non-invasive therapies. Our West LA clinic fosters a collaborative, patient-first culture where evidence-based osteopathy meets modern wellness. The team comprises experienced DOs, DCs, and allied health professionals in a supportive, modern facility emphasizing work-life balance and continuous learning. We offer competitive compensation commensurate with experience, though specific salary details are not specified at this time. Comprehensive benefits include medical, dental, and vision insurance, 401(k) with matching, generous PTO starting at 3 weeks, continuing education reimbursement up to $5,000 annually, and perks like flexible scheduling, malpractice coverage, and wellness stipends. Performance bonuses tied to patient outcomes and clinic growth are available. Advance your career with mentorship from top osteopathic practitioners, specialized training in advanced OMT, and pathways to partnership or clinic leadership. Professional development includes conference attendance and skill-building workshops. To apply, submit your CV and cover letter via our careers portal, highlighting your passion for osteopathic medicine.
