Job Description
Evergreen Intelligence seeks a Geopolitical Intelligence Analyst to monitor global events, assess risks, and deliver actionable insights for strategic decision-making. The role demands sharp analytical skills and expertise in international relations to support government and military clients.
Full Description
Job Overview
Evergreen Intelligence is a premier provider of geopolitical analysis and intelligence services, specializing in delivering high-impact insights to government, military, and corporate clients navigating complex global landscapes. As a Geopolitical Intelligence Analyst, you will play a pivotal role in monitoring international developments, synthesizing data from diverse sources, and producing reports that inform critical strategies. This position offers the chance to work on high-stakes projects influencing national security and global policy from our dynamic team in the United States.
Key Responsibilities
Conduct daily monitoring of geopolitical events, including political shifts, military movements, economic sanctions, and regional conflicts across key global hotspots. Analyze open-source intelligence (OSINT), classified data, and media reports to identify emerging threats and opportunities, producing concise executive summaries and in-depth assessments. Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including analysts, policymakers, and field operatives, to develop predictive models and scenario planning for potential crises. Prepare visually compelling briefings, dashboards, and presentations for senior stakeholders, ensuring insights are timely, accurate, and actionable. Stay abreast of evolving methodologies in intelligence analysis, incorporating AI tools and advanced data analytics to enhance forecasting accuracy. Support ad-hoc requests from clients, such as rapid response reports on breaking events like elections, coups, or trade disputes.
Required Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in International Relations, Political Science, Intelligence Studies, or a related field; Master's degree or advanced certifications (e.g., from intelligence academies) strongly preferred. Minimum of 3-5 years of professional experience in geopolitical analysis, intelligence operations, or think tanks, with a track record in government-military sectors. Proven ability to handle classified information, demonstrated by prior security clearance (Top Secret/SCI eligibility required). Strong background in quantitative analysis, with familiarity in statistical software like R or Python for data modeling.
Skills
Exceptional research and analytical skills, with proficiency in OSINT tools (e.g., Maltego, Recorded Future), geospatial analysis (ArcGIS), and natural language processing. Excellent written and verbal communication, capable of distilling complex information into clear, persuasive narratives for non-expert audiences. Cultural fluency and foreign language proficiency (e.g., Arabic, Mandarin, Russian) highly valued for enhanced source evaluation. Critical thinking and adaptability in fast-paced, ambiguous environments, with a keen eye for bias detection in intelligence sources. Technical aptitude in data visualization tools like Tableau or Power BI, and experience with collaboration platforms such as secure intranets or Slack.
