Key Responsibilities You will be responsible for sourcing new deal flow through proactive networking with brokers, developers, and industry contacts. Conduct thorough market analysis and financial modeling to evaluate investment opportunities and prepare compelling pitch materials. Structure creative financing solutions, including bridge loans, mezzanine debt, preferred equity, and construction financing, while negotiating terms with borrowers and lenders. Perform due diligence, including property inspections, lease reviews, and third-party report analysis. Support the execution phase by coordinating with legal, appraisal, and environmental consultants to close transactions efficiently. Track pipeline activity, maintain CRM records, and contribute to marketing efforts to expand Max Benjamin Partners' market presence. Stay abreast of market trends, regulatory changes, and competitive landscapes to advise clients on optimal capital strategies. Required Qualifications A Bachelor's degree in Finance, Real Estate, Business Administration, or a related field is required; an MBA or advanced degree is highly preferred. Minimum of 2-4 years of experience in commercial real estate finance, capital markets, or origination roles at a bank, investment firm, or mortgage lender. Proven track record of originating and closing deals valued at $10M+ in New York or similar markets. Active network within the NYC real estate community, including relationships with brokers, owners, and capital providers. Familiarity with lending platforms, CMBS, and agency debt products. Skills Exceptional financial modeling and underwriting skills using Excel, Argus, or similar tools. Strong analytical abilities with keen attention to detail and risk assessment. Excellent communication and presentation skills for client pitches and internal reporting. Proficiency in market research and data analysis tools like CoStar or Trepp. Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, deal-oriented environment with multitasking capabilities.
