Job Description

INFUSE seeks a remote Associate In-House Counsel to provide legal support for business operations, contracts, and compliance. Join our innovative team to safeguard growth while working flexibly from anywhere in the US.

Full Description

Join INFUSE as our Associate In-House Counsel in this fully remote role, where you will play a pivotal part in protecting the company's innovative pursuits and ensuring seamless legal operations. This position is crucial for mitigating risks, supporting strategic initiatives, and enabling INFUSE to thrive in a competitive landscape through proactive legal guidance and sound decision-making. In your daily responsibilities, you will draft, review, and negotiate a wide array of contracts, including vendor agreements, partnership deals, and customer contracts, ensuring they align with business goals and legal standards. Weekly, you will conduct legal research on emerging regulations in technology and data privacy, advising cross-functional teams on compliance matters such as GDPR, CCPA, and intellectual property protections. You will collaborate closely with engineering, sales, marketing, and executive leadership to support product launches, mergers, and expansion efforts, delivering risk assessments and legal opinions that drive informed decisions. Monthly, you will manage litigation matters, coordinate with external counsel when needed, and prepare reports on legal metrics like contract turnaround times and compliance audit results. Additionally, you will develop internal policies on data security and employment law, conduct training sessions for staff, and handle corporate governance tasks such as board meeting preparations and SEC filings preparation. This role involves no direct management but offers opportunities to lead special projects like global expansion legal strategies. To succeed, you must hold a Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school and be an active member in good standing of at least one US state bar, with 3-5 years of in-house counsel or law firm experience in technology or SaaS industries. Proficiency in contract management tools like DocuSign, Ironclad, or ContractWorks is essential, alongside deep knowledge of US commercial law, IP rights, privacy regulations, and corporate transactions. Experience with remote work tools such as Microsoft Teams, Slack, and secure document platforms is required, as is familiarity with litigation support software. Preferred qualifications include certifications in data privacy (CIPP/US) or cybersecurity law. Beyond technical expertise, you will bring exceptional analytical thinking to dissect complex legal issues, superior written and verbal communication to articulate advice clearly to non-legal stakeholders, and strong negotiation skills to secure favorable terms. Your ability to thrive in a fast-paced, remote environment demands self-motivation, time management, and adaptability, while ethical judgment and attention to detail ensure unwavering compliance. Collaborative competencies will help you build trust across distributed teams, fostering a culture of legal awareness. INFUSE is a dynamic technology company revolutionizing infusion therapy solutions through cutting-edge software and hardware innovations, committed to improving patient outcomes worldwide. Our mission centers on accessibility and excellence, guided by values of integrity, innovation, and inclusivity. With a fully remote team structure spanning the US, we cultivate a collaborative culture via virtual stand-ups, hackathons, and wellness initiatives, making us a unique place where creativity meets purpose. We offer competitive compensation commensurate with experience, though specific salary details are not specified at this time, paired with comprehensive benefits including medical, dental, and vision insurance, 401(k) matching, and life/disability coverage. Enjoy generous PTO with 20+ days annually, flexible remote work schedules, professional development stipends for CLE courses, and performance-based bonuses plus stock options to share in our success. Advance your career at INFUSE through mentorship programs, leadership tracks to senior counsel roles, and exposure to high-impact projects.
