Weekly, you will conduct team huddles, review KPIs such as yield rates and downtime, and collaborate with supply chain managers to forecast material needs accurately. Monthly responsibilities encompass preparing executive reports on production efficiency, budgeting for equipment upgrades, and leading cross-functional projects like implementing lean manufacturing initiatives. You will manage a team of 50+ production staff, including hiring, training, and performance evaluations, while partnering with engineering, quality assurance, and sales departments to align production with customer demands and new product launches. Key deliverables include annual production plans targeting 20% capacity increase and reducing waste by 15% through data-driven process optimizations. Candidates must hold a Bachelor's degree in Manufacturing Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related field, with a Master's or MBA preferred. We require at least 10-15 years of progressive experience in production management, including 5+ years in a VP or director-level role within manufacturing or operations. Proven expertise in ERP systems like SAP or Oracle, lean six sigma methodologies, and automation technologies such as PLC programming and robotics is essential. Deep knowledge of OSHA safety standards, ISO 9001 quality certifications, and supply chain logistics in high-volume environments is mandatory.
