Lead cross-functional teams including engineering, supply chain, and quality assurance, collaborating with suppliers for just-in-time inventory and stakeholders for new program launches. Oversee a staff of 100+, handling hiring, training, performance evaluations, and succession planning to build high-performing teams. Drive continuous improvement initiatives using Lean Six Sigma methodologies, spearheading projects that enhance throughput by 20% or more. Ensure compliance with AS9100 standards, FAA regulations, and OSHA safety protocols through regular audits and risk assessments. Candidates must possess a Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, or Business Administration, with a Master's or MBA preferred, and at least 10-15 years of progressive experience in aerospace or defense manufacturing, including 5+ years in senior leadership roles. Expertise in ERP systems like SAP or Epicor, CAD/CAM software, and advanced manufacturing technologies such as additive manufacturing and automation is essential. Proven track record in managing multi-million-dollar P&L, with deep knowledge of aerospace supply chain dynamics, ITAR compliance, and precision machining processes. Professional certifications including PMP, Lean Six Sigma Black Belt, or ASQ Certified Manager are highly desirable.
