Job Description
SupplyCore seeks a Military Account Manager - PEOs in Orlando, FL to manage key government-military accounts. Drive sales growth, build relationships with Program Executive Offices, and ensure exceptional service delivery for defense supply solutions.
Full Description
Join SupplyCore as a Military Account Manager specializing in Program Executive Offices (PEOs), a pivotal role driving our success in the government and military sector. This position is essential for strengthening client partnerships, expanding revenue streams, and delivering mission-critical supply chain solutions that support national defense objectives. Your strategic efforts will directly contribute to SupplyCore's growth, enhancing our reputation as a trusted provider of logistics and procurement services to high-level military programs.
In this dynamic role, you will manage a portfolio of PEO accounts, conducting daily outreach to key stakeholders including program directors and procurement officers to identify needs and opportunities. Weekly, prepare detailed reports on account performance, sales pipelines, and contract statuses, while collaborating with internal sales, operations, and logistics teams to customize solutions. Monthly, lead account reviews, negotiate contracts worth millions, and track key metrics such as revenue growth, client satisfaction scores, and on-time delivery rates exceeding 98%. You will spearhead cross-functional projects, like supply chain optimizations for major defense initiatives, and mentor junior team members on military contracting protocols. Expect to travel to client sites for relationship-building and participate in industry events to secure new business.
Candidates must hold a bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field, with at least 7-10 years of progressive experience in military or government account management, ideally with PEOs or similar defense organizations. Proficiency in federal acquisition regulations (FAR), Defense Federal Acquisition Regulation Supplement (DFARS), and tools like Deltek Costpoint, Salesforce CRM, and ERP systems is required. Deep knowledge of military logistics, procurement processes, and DoD supply chains is essential, along with relevant certifications such as Certified Federal Contracts Manager (CFCM) or Defense Acquisition Workforce Improvement Act (DAWIA) credentials. Proven track record in managing multimillion-dollar contracts and navigating classified environments is a must.
Success demands exceptional relationship-building and communication skills to influence senior military leaders, alongside analytical prowess for forecasting and risk assessment. Technical expertise in supply chain software and data analytics tools, combined with leadership abilities to guide teams through complex projects, sets top performers apart. Industry-specific competencies include understanding PEO structures, GSA schedules, and HUBZone preferences, ensuring seamless compliance and innovation in defense solutions.
SupplyCore is a leading provider of comprehensive supply chain management for government and military clients, with a mission to deliver unparalleled reliability and efficiency in mission-critical logistics. Our Orlando headquarters fosters a collaborative, high-performance culture emphasizing innovation, integrity, and employee empowerment. With a diverse team of logistics experts, we prioritize work-life balance through flexible scheduling and a supportive environment that celebrates achievements in serving our nation's defense needs.
