In this role, you will conduct comprehensive market research to identify acquisition targets, including multifamily, office, and retail properties. Weekly, collaborate with the acquisitions team to source off-market opportunities through broker networks and industry relationships, while tracking key metrics like IRR, NOI, and cap rates. Monthly responsibilities include supporting capital markets activities such as preparing pitch decks for lenders and equity partners, analyzing debt and equity financing options, and contributing to quarterly portfolio performance reports. You will partner closely with legal, asset management, and development teams to ensure seamless transaction execution, and may assist in managing junior analysts by reviewing their work and providing guidance on complex modeling scenarios. Candidates must hold a Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Real Estate, Economics, or a related field, with an MBA or CFA certification strongly preferred. We require at least 2-4 years of experience in real estate acquisitions, capital markets, or investment banking within the commercial real estate sector. Proficiency in financial modeling tools like Excel, Argus Enterprise, and CoStar is essential, along with strong knowledge of real estate valuation methods, underwriting, and market analytics. Familiarity with Philadelphia’s real estate landscape, including zoning regulations and economic drivers, is highly valued. Relevant licenses such as a real estate broker license are a plus.
