Monthly responsibilities encompass forecasting sales pipelines, preparing executive briefings on achievements and challenges, and spearheading initiatives like store optimization projects to boost foot traffic and average transaction values. You will manage a team of 15-20 sales professionals, providing mentorship, performance evaluations, and development plans while liaising with operations, finance, and supply chain departments to ensure seamless execution. Delivering on metrics like 20% year-over-year growth and 95% partner retention will be central to your success.
Candidates must hold a bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field, with an MBA preferred, and possess at least 10 years of progressive experience in retail sales leadership, including 5 years in a director-level role within the consumer goods or retail sector. Proven track record managing multi-million-dollar budgets and P&L responsibility is essential. Expertise in CRM systems like Salesforce, retail analytics tools such as Tableau, and e-commerce platforms is required. Deep knowledge of New York retail markets, merchandising trends, and compliance with state regulations is critical.
