Job Description
IntegriChain seeks an IT Support Technician in Greater Philadelphia to provide essential technical support for systems and users. Join our innovative team to ensure seamless operations and drive technology solutions in the pharmaceutical industry.
Full Description
IntegriChain, a leader in pharmaceutical supply chain solutions, is seeking a skilled IT Support Technician to join our dynamic team in the Greater Philadelphia area. This pivotal role ensures the reliability and efficiency of our technology infrastructure, directly supporting our mission to optimize supply chain management for life sciences companies. By maintaining robust IT systems, you will enable our teams to deliver cutting-edge analytics and data solutions that impact patient access to critical therapies across the industry.
As an IT Support Technician, your day-to-day responsibilities will keep our operations running smoothly. You will provide first-line technical support to end-users, troubleshooting hardware and software issues via phone, email, and in-person assistance to minimize downtime. Daily tasks include diagnosing and resolving problems with desktops, laptops, printers, and peripherals, as well as installing and configuring software applications tailored to our pharmaceutical workflows. Weekly, you will perform system maintenance, such as updating antivirus software, monitoring network performance, and conducting routine backups to safeguard critical data. Monthly responsibilities encompass inventory management of IT assets, generating reports on support tickets and resolution times with key metrics like average resolution time under 4 hours, and collaborating with developers and data analysts to test new tools. You will also assist in user onboarding, setting up accounts in Active Directory, and training staff on best practices for cybersecurity. Expect to partner closely with cross-functional teams, including finance, operations, and executive leadership, to deploy updates and enhancements that support our SaaS platforms. In high-volume periods, you may lead small projects like rolling out new peripherals company-wide, ensuring zero disruptions to our supply chain analytics services.
To succeed in this role, candidates must hold a bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience. We require at least 2-3 years of hands-on IT support experience in a fast-paced environment, preferably within tech or healthcare sectors. Proficiency is essential in Windows and macOS operating systems, Microsoft Office Suite, Active Directory, and ticketing systems like Zendesk or ServiceNow. Familiarity with networking fundamentals, including TCP/IP, VPNs, and Wi-Fi troubleshooting, along with experience in remote support tools such as TeamViewer or Microsoft Remote Desktop, is mandatory. Knowledge of cloud platforms like Azure or AWS, basic scripting in PowerShell, and CompTIA A+ or Network+ certification will set you apart. Strong understanding of data security compliance, especially HIPAA for pharma-related systems, is highly valued.
Beyond technical expertise, we seek candidates with exceptional problem-solving abilities, the capacity to prioritize tasks under pressure, and excellent communication skills to explain complex issues to non-technical stakeholders. Your customer service orientation will shine in delivering empathetic, efficient support, while adaptability ensures you thrive in our evolving tech landscape. Team collaboration is key, as you'll work alongside diverse professionals to foster innovation in supply chain technology.
