Job Overview
Concentric, a leader in integrated security and risk management services, is seeking a Junior Risk Intelligence Analyst to join our dynamic team. This remote position plays a vital role in supporting government and military clients by identifying, assessing, and mitigating potential risks through intelligence gathering and analysis. As a key contributor to our risk intelligence operations, you will help safeguard critical assets and operations in a fast-paced, high-stakes environment.
Key Responsibilities
Conduct daily monitoring of open-source intelligence (OSINT) sources, including news feeds, social media, and public databases, to identify emerging threats and risks. Analyze collected data using analytical tools to produce actionable intelligence reports, briefings, and dashboards for senior stakeholders. Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including security operations and executive protection, to assess threat levels and recommend mitigation strategies. Support the development of risk intelligence products, such as threat assessments and trend analyses, tailored to client needs in the government and military sectors. Maintain and update intelligence databases, ensuring accuracy and timeliness of information. Participate in after-action reviews and contribute to continuous improvement of intelligence processes. Assist in training junior team members and stay abreast of evolving threats through professional development.
Required Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Intelligence Studies, International Relations, Criminology, Political Science, or a related field. 1-2 years of experience in intelligence analysis, risk assessment, or a related role; internships or academic projects count toward experience. U.S. citizenship required due to the sensitive nature of government and military clients; ability to obtain security clearance preferred. Strong understanding of geopolitical risks, terrorism trends, and physical security threats.
Skills
Proficiency in OSINT tools such as Maltego, Recorded Future, or similar platforms. Excellent analytical and critical thinking skills with the ability to synthesize complex information. Strong written and verbal communication skills for report writing and briefings. Familiarity with data visualization tools like Tableau or Power BI. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel for data manipulation. Knowledge of research methodologies and threat modeling frameworks. Ability to work independently in a remote setting with excellent time management. Basic understanding of cybersecurity principles and physical security concepts.
