Job Overview Revel, a forward-thinking real estate firm based in Los Angeles, California, is seeking a dynamic Real Estate Manager to lead our property management operations. This pivotal role involves managing a diverse portfolio of commercial and residential properties, spearheading acquisition and disposition strategies, and ensuring optimal financial performance. Reporting to the Director of Real Estate, you will collaborate with cross-functional teams to align property operations with Revel's growth objectives in the competitive Los Angeles market. Key Responsibilities You will oversee day-to-day property management activities, including tenant relations, lease negotiations, and maintenance coordination to achieve high occupancy rates and revenue goals. Develop and execute strategic plans for property acquisitions, dispositions, and redevelopment projects, conducting thorough market analysis and financial modeling to identify high-potential opportunities. Manage vendor contracts, budgets, and capital improvement projects while ensuring compliance with local regulations, zoning laws, and environmental standards. Analyze property performance metrics, prepare detailed reports for senior leadership, and implement value-enhancing initiatives such as renovations or repositioning strategies. Foster strong relationships with brokers, investors, and community stakeholders to support Revel's expansion in Southern California. Required Qualifications A bachelor's degree in Real Estate, Business Administration, Finance, or a related field is required; a master's degree or MBA is preferred. Minimum of 5-7 years of progressive experience in real estate management, with proven success in portfolio oversight and transaction execution in urban markets like Los Angeles. Active California Real Estate License and knowledge of local market dynamics, including entitlements and development processes. Strong financial acumen with experience in underwriting deals, cash flow projections, and ROI analysis using tools like Argus or Excel. Skills Exceptional analytical and strategic thinking skills to evaluate market trends and optimize asset performance. Outstanding communication and negotiation abilities for dealing with tenants, vendors, and investors. Proficiency in real estate software such as Yardi, MRI, or AppFolio, alongside advanced Microsoft Office Suite expertise.
