Vyve Broadband is seeking a motivated Direct Sales Representative to join our team in Hays, Kansas. In this role, you will represent our company by visiting residential neighborhoods and engaging directly with potential customers to present our suite of broadband, television, and voice services. You will be responsible for generating new customer acquisitions through face-to-face interactions, delivering persuasive sales presentations, and answering questions about pricing, packages, and installation processes. Success in this position requires consistent outreach, accurate record-keeping of daily activities, and maintaining a professional image that reflects positively on Vyve Broadband. Key responsibilities include planning daily routes to maximize customer contacts, following up on leads, and closing sales on the spot or scheduling follow-up appointments. You will also collect customer information, complete order forms accurately, and coordinate with the installation team to ensure timely service activation. Building trust within the community is essential, as you will often be the first point of contact between Vyve Broadband and local residents. The role demands resilience, excellent communication skills, and the ability to handle rejection while maintaining a positive attitude. Required qualifications include a high school diploma or equivalent, a valid driver's license, and reliable transportation. Previous sales or customer service experience is preferred but not mandatory, as comprehensive training will be provided. Candidates must be comfortable working outdoors in various weather conditions and walking significant distances throughout the day. Strong interpersonal skills, self-motivation, and the ability to work independently are critical for success.
