Job Overview The Sr. Sales Operations Manager plays a critical leadership role within Amazon.com Services LLC, overseeing sales operations for the Sales Product Engineering & Operations division. Based in Chicago, Illinois, this full-time position focuses on optimizing sales processes, improving operational efficiency, and supporting strategic initiatives that drive revenue growth. The role requires close collaboration with cross-functional teams including engineering, product, and finance to ensure alignment between sales goals and operational capabilities. Key Responsibilities Lead the development and execution of sales operations strategies that enhance team performance and streamline workflows. Analyze sales data to identify trends, opportunities, and areas for improvement, providing actionable insights to senior leadership. Manage forecasting, pipeline analysis, and performance reporting to ensure accurate revenue projections. Collaborate with product and engineering teams to align sales strategies with new product launches and feature updates. Design and implement scalable processes that improve sales productivity and reduce operational friction. Drive initiatives to enhance CRM usage, sales tools, and data accuracy across the organization. Partner with finance to manage sales compensation plans and quota setting. Support training and onboarding programs for new sales team members to accelerate ramp-up time. Required Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, or a related field is required. A minimum of 7 years of experience in sales operations, business operations, or a similar analytical role is necessary. Demonstrated experience in managing complex sales processes and cross-functional projects is essential. Strong proficiency in data analysis, CRM systems, and sales performance metrics is expected. Skills Advanced analytical and problem-solving abilities with a data-driven mindset. Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills. Proficiency in Salesforce, Excel, and business intelligence tools. Strong project management capabilities with attention to detail.
