Precision Neuroscience is seeking a talented Electrical Engineering Systems Engineer to join our innovative team in Santa Clara, California. In this role, you will contribute to the design and development of cutting-edge neural interface systems that are transforming the future of brain-computer interface technology and advancing healthcare solutions for neurological conditions. As an EE Systems Engineer, you will lead the design, integration, and validation of complex electrical systems for implantable and wearable neurotechnology devices. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams including mechanical engineers, software developers, neuroscientists, and clinical specialists to ensure seamless system performance and regulatory compliance. Your work will involve schematic design, PCB layout oversight, signal integrity analysis, power management optimization, and thorough system-level testing to guarantee safety, reliability, and performance of next-generation medical devices. The ideal candidate will possess a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field, along with demonstrated experience in medical device development or high-reliability electronics. Proficiency in analog and digital circuit design, embedded systems, FPGA development, and electromagnetic compatibility (EMC) testing is essential. Strong knowledge of medical device standards such as IEC 60601 and ISO 13485, along with experience using tools like Altium, SPICE, and MATLAB, will be highly valued. Excellent problem-solving abilities, attention to detail, and effective communication skills are required to succeed in our collaborative environment.
