Required Qualifications Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field. At least 4+ years of professional experience in software engineering, with a focus on platform or backend development. Strong proficiency in at least one systems programming language such as Go, Rust, C++, or Java, and experience with Python or Node.js. Proven track record working with cloud platforms like AWS, GCP, or Azure, including services like Kubernetes, Docker, and serverless computing. Skills Deep expertise in building scalable microservices, event-driven architectures, and databases (SQL like PostgreSQL, NoSQL like DynamoDB or Cassandra). Familiarity with infrastructure as code tools (Terraform, CloudFormation), message queues (Kafka, RabbitMQ), and monitoring stacks (Prometheus, Grafana, ELK). Excellent problem-solving abilities, with a passion for clean code, testing (unit, integration, e2e), and agile methodologies. Strong communication skills to articulate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders. Experience with platform engineering concepts like service meshes (Istio), API gateways, and zero-trust security is highly desirable.
