Job Overview Tractor Supply Company is seeking a dedicated Part-time Merchandising Sales Associate to join our team in Clay Center, Kansas. Key Responsibilities Greet customers warmly and assist them in locating products throughout the store while providing knowledgeable recommendations based on their needs. Maintain organized and visually appealing merchandise displays by following planograms and ensuring products are properly stocked and priced. Process customer transactions accurately using the point-of-sale system while handling cash, credit cards, and other payment methods. Collaborate with team members to execute promotional events, seasonal displays, and inventory management tasks. Keep the sales floor clean and safe by performing regular maintenance and reporting any hazards or equipment issues to management. Support receiving and stocking procedures by unloading deliveries and organizing merchandise in designated areas. Required Qualifications Applicants must be at least 18 years of age and possess a high school diploma or equivalent. Previous retail or customer service experience is preferred but not required. Candidates should demonstrate strong communication skills and the ability to work in a team environment. Basic math skills are necessary for handling transactions and inventory counts. Skills Successful candidates will exhibit excellent interpersonal abilities, attention to detail, and the capacity to lift up to 50 pounds regularly. Time management skills and the flexibility to work weekends and holidays are essential. Familiarity with agricultural products or outdoor equipment is a plus.
