This position plays a vital role in supporting patients with end-stage renal disease by delivering safe, high-quality nursing care throughout their treatment journey. The Registered Nurse will work closely with a multidisciplinary team to ensure patients receive personalized attention and exceptional clinical support in a fast-paced healthcare environment. Key Responsibilities include performing comprehensive patient assessments before, during, and after dialysis treatments, monitoring vital signs and responding promptly to any changes in patient condition. Additional duties involve educating patients and their families about kidney disease management, lifestyle modifications, and treatment adherence to promote long-term health outcomes. Collaboration with physicians, dietitians, and social workers is essential to develop and implement individualized care plans that address both medical and psychosocial needs. The nurse will also ensure compliance with all regulatory standards, infection control protocols, and company policies while maintaining a safe and supportive environment for patients and staff. Required Qualifications include an active Registered Nurse license in the state of Illinois and a minimum of one year of nursing experience, preferably in dialysis, critical care, or medical-surgical settings. Candidates must demonstrate strong clinical assessment skills and the ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment. Basic Life Support certification is required, and Advanced Cardiac Life Support certification is preferred. Essential Skills include excellent communication abilities, proficiency in electronic medical records systems, strong organizational skills, and the capacity to manage multiple priorities under pressure. The ideal candidate will show empathy, patience, and a genuine commitment to improving the quality of life for patients with chronic illnesses.
