Full Description
AgHires is seeking a motivated Inside Sales Agronomist to join our team in Osborne, Kansas. In this role, you will combine your agronomic expertise with strong sales skills to support growers in making informed crop management decisions while driving revenue growth for the company. This position offers the opportunity to work closely with agricultural producers, providing technical guidance and recommending tailored solutions that improve yields and profitability.
Key Responsibilities include conducting inbound and outbound sales calls to existing and prospective customers, recommending crop protection products, seed varieties, and fertility programs based on field conditions and grower goals, building and maintaining long-term customer relationships through regular communication and follow-up, maintaining accurate records of sales activities and customer interactions in the company CRM system, staying current on industry trends, product innovations, and regulatory changes affecting agriculture, collaborating with field agronomists and operations teams to ensure seamless service delivery, and participating in grower meetings, field days, and educational events to promote company offerings.
Required Qualifications for this position include a bachelor's degree in agronomy, crop science, agriculture, or a related field, previous experience in agricultural sales or agronomic consulting preferred, strong knowledge of crop production practices and input products, excellent verbal and written communication skills, proficiency with CRM software and Microsoft Office applications, and a valid driver's license with the ability to travel occasionally within the region.
