Job Overview SoMuchfuntoTravel is seeking a dedicated Customer Service Coordinator to join our vibrant team in Texas. As a key player in our customer-facing operations, you will provide outstanding support to travelers embarking on unforgettable adventures worldwide. Key Responsibilities You will manage incoming customer inquiries via phone, email, and chat, ensuring prompt and accurate responses to questions about bookings, itineraries, and travel policies. Resolving complaints and issues efficiently will be central to your role, turning potential dissatisfaction into loyalty through empathetic problem-solving. Coordinating with internal teams such as reservations and operations to facilitate seamless resolutions, updating customer records in our CRM system, and following up on feedback to improve service quality are daily tasks. Additionally, you will assist in processing refunds, changes, and special requests while promoting upsell opportunities for travel packages. Required Qualifications A high school diploma or equivalent is required, with an associate's or bachelor's degree in hospitality, business, or a related field preferred. At least 2 years of experience in customer service, preferably within the travel or hospitality industry, is essential. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and customer relationship management (CRM) software like Zendesk or Salesforce is necessary. Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, are a must, along with the ability to multitask in a high-volume setting. Skills Exceptional interpersonal and active listening skills to build rapport with diverse customers. Problem-solving prowess with a calm, solution-oriented mindset under pressure. Time management and organizational abilities to handle multiple priorities. Familiarity with travel industry terminology, booking systems, and regulations. Basic knowledge of social media for customer engagement and bilingual capabilities (Spanish preferred) for our Texas clientele.
