Job Overview
As a Customer Service Travel Representative at Careers In Travel Destination Planners, you will play a vital role in delivering outstanding support to our global clientele of leisure and business travelers. This fully remote, full-time position offers the flexibility to work from anywhere in Georgia or beyond, helping customers plan and execute unforgettable trips while building lasting relationships in the dynamic travel industry.
Key Responsibilities
Respond promptly to customer inquiries via phone, email, chat, and social media, addressing booking questions, itinerary changes, and travel disruptions with empathy and efficiency. Assist clients in selecting destinations, accommodations, flights, and activities by leveraging our proprietary booking platform and deep knowledge of travel options. Resolve complaints and issues swiftly, escalating complex matters to supervisors when necessary, and follow up to ensure customer satisfaction. Maintain accurate records of interactions, transactions, and feedback in our CRM system to support continuous service improvement. Collaborate with travel agents, suppliers, and internal teams to coordinate seamless travel experiences, including real-time updates on flight delays, visa requirements, and health advisories. Promote upsell opportunities such as travel insurance, upgrades, and packages to enhance customer value and company revenue. Stay informed on travel trends, regulations, and company policies to provide accurate, up-to-date advice.
Required Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent required; associate's or bachelor's degree in hospitality, tourism, or business preferred. Minimum of 1-2 years of customer service experience, ideally in travel, hospitality, or call centers. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and familiarity with CRM tools like Salesforce or Zendesk. Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English; multilingual abilities (Spanish, French) a plus. Must be authorized to work in the US and able to pass a background check.
