Job Overview Jackson Park Hospital is currently seeking a compassionate and skilled Staff Nurse to join our Medical/Surgical unit. Educate patients and families on health conditions, discharge instructions, and preventive care measures. Document all patient interactions accurately in electronic medical records while maintaining compliance with hospital policies and regulatory standards. Respond promptly to changes in patient conditions and initiate appropriate interventions. Required Qualifications Candidates must hold a current and unrestricted Registered Nurse license in the state of Illinois. A Bachelor of Science in Nursing degree is preferred, though an Associate Degree in Nursing with relevant experience will be considered. A minimum of one year of acute care nursing experience in a medical-surgical setting is required. Current BLS and ACLS certifications are mandatory. Skills Strong clinical assessment skills, proficiency with electronic health record systems, excellent time management abilities, effective verbal and written communication, and the capacity to work collaboratively within interdisciplinary teams are essential for success in this role.
