Job Overview
OnPoint Medical Group, a leader in innovative primary and urgent care services in Colorado, is seeking a dedicated Physician Assistant (PA) or Nurse Practitioner (NP) for a PRN position in our state-of-the-art Urgent Care facility in Lone Tree, CO. Key Responsibilities
Evaluate and diagnose patients presenting with urgent care needs, including minor injuries, infections, respiratory issues, and chronic condition exacerbations. Perform comprehensive physical exams, order and interpret diagnostic tests such as labs, X-rays, and EKGs, and develop appropriate treatment plans. Prescribe medications, administer injections, perform minor procedures like suturing, splinting, and wound care, and provide patient education on follow-up care and preventive measures. Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and support staff to ensure seamless care delivery, maintain accurate electronic health records (EHR), and adhere to clinical protocols and regulatory standards. Manage high patient volumes efficiently while prioritizing patient safety and satisfaction in a per-visit basis schedule.
Required Qualifications
Valid Colorado PA or NP license with national certification (NCCPA or ANCC/AANP). Minimum of 2 years of clinical experience, preferably in urgent care, emergency medicine, or family practice. Current DEA registration and BLS/ACLS certification required; PALS preferred. Master's degree from an accredited PA or NP program. Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a high-acuity setting.
