Full Description
Acosta Sales & Marketing is seeking dedicated Merchandisers to support retail operations across Junction City, Kansas. In this full-time role, you will be responsible for executing merchandising strategies that enhance product visibility and drive consumer engagement at various retail locations. You will work independently in the field, traveling between stores to ensure merchandise is accurately stocked, displayed according to planograms, and maintained to company standards.
Key Responsibilities include visiting assigned retail accounts on a scheduled basis, building and maintaining strong relationships with store managers and staff, implementing promotional displays and signage, tracking inventory levels, and providing feedback on market trends and competitor activity. You will also be responsible for completing detailed reports, ensuring compliance with client and retailer guidelines, and meeting performance metrics related to product placement and sales support.
Required Qualifications include a high school diploma or equivalent, a valid driver's license, reliable transportation, and the ability to lift up to 50 pounds. Candidates must be comfortable working in a retail environment and traveling locally throughout the day. Previous experience in merchandising, retail sales, or brand promotion is preferred but not required.
Skills essential for success in this position include strong attention to detail, excellent organizational abilities, effective communication, time management, and the capacity to work independently with minimal supervision. Familiarity with planograms, merchandising software, and basic computer skills are beneficial.
