Job Overview
Platinum Supplemental Insurance is seeking a motivated Outside Sales Representative to join our dynamic team in a fully remote capacity. Based anywhere in Kansas, this full-time role offers the freedom to work from home while generating leads, building client relationships, and selling high-quality supplemental insurance products such as cancer, accident, and critical illness coverage. Key Responsibilities
Prospect and generate leads through cold calling, networking events, referrals, and digital marketing strategies to build a robust pipeline of potential clients. Conduct thorough needs assessments during virtual or in-person consultations to recommend tailored supplemental insurance solutions that meet clients' unique coverage needs. Deliver compelling sales presentations, overcome objections, and close deals to meet and exceed monthly and quarterly sales targets. Maintain accurate records of sales activities, client interactions, and policies issued using our state-of-the-art CRM system. Provide ongoing customer service, process renewals, and nurture long-term relationships to drive repeat business and referrals. Stay updated on insurance products, industry regulations, and competitive landscape to position Platinum Supplemental Insurance as the top choice for clients.
Required Qualifications
Hold a valid Kansas life and health insurance producer license or willingness to obtain one promptly with company-provided support. Minimum of 1-2 years of outside sales experience, preferably in insurance, financial services, or related fields. Proven track record of meeting or surpassing sales quotas in a commission-based environment. High school diploma required; associate or bachelor's degree in business, marketing, or communications preferred. Must be at least 18 years old and authorized to work in the United States.
